Daycares are you SERIOUS!!!!!
So I've started my part time job and I'm only working about 3 days a week right now. Weekends that I work I have people to watch my darling boy, I also have my husbands aunt 1 day during the week, and whenever my husband is off and I'm working we are covered but there are some days during the week when me and my husband are both working and his aunt can't so I've been looking into daycares for part time and YIKES!!!!!!! Most don't take part time 2 year olds, some take part time 2 year olds but no rotating schedules, and the ones that do want to charge $44/day...SERIOUS $44/day!!!!! This is why I had my own daycare business out of my home because most people with part time jobs can't afford that. Hopefully my friend will be able to watch him for only $20/day please!!!

Full Time mommy with a Part time job
Well, It's official I have a job. I'm now working at Stride Rite, which is great because that is where I get Matthew's shoes *cough* 40% discount *cough cough* As of right now with my schedule I don't need a sitter or anything besides my parents and my husbands aunt. But if I get more hours that conflict with Josh's I may need to start looking for a daycare. His aunt will only watch him 1 day, my parents can only do some weekends. If Josh works and I work and his aunt can't Uh oh!!! But needless to say I am excited to be getting out of the house and working and making money again =)

Terrible Twos, Teething and Timeouts...
So for the past couple months I've noticed my son is starting to hit those dang terrible twos that everyone warns us about when we are pregnant and enjoying our baby's first 18-24 months of life. At first I was like these are not as bad as everyone was telling me until he really starting to get into the swing of it. At first it started with smacking me, I've tried telling him not to smack mommy but he did not listen. So then I broke down and it was timeout time. At first he didn't know what it was about until I used my STERN voice, which of course now he understands what timeout is all about now and it seems to work he doesn't hit me anymore. But now he throws things, screams, cries, whines (for no reason). Which brings me into the teething part of my story. I've noticed my darling boy chewing on toys (which he never does, unless he is teething.), have slight fevers, and of course the whining. When I brush his teeth I don't see any teeth poking through in the back but I have a feeling they are coming. I've been a stay at home mother for the past 2 years, now I'm thinking it's time to find a job and get myself out of the house and having some time out by myself, or I may find myself rocking back and forth in the corner of the bathroom with the door shut and locked ;-)
